Lunch: Salad with 3 pieces Skewered Skirt Steak; Crumbled Bacon; Balsamic Vinagrette
Snack: Almonds; Whole Wheat Sesame Breadsticks
Dinner: Baby Spinach Salad; Baked Sole w/Roasted Red Peppers; 2 glasses of wine (Top of the Hub in Boston)

7/13:
B-fast: 3 eggs w/diced potatoes, whole wheat toast
Snack: Balance Bar
Lunch: (cheat meal) – 4 slices Bacon & Clam White Pizza
Snack: Whole Wheat Sesame Breadsticks
Dinner: Chicken Noodle Soup w/Whole wheat crackers

Sidenote:
Was in Boston for a Sat. Night Birthday Dinner for my mother’s 60th.  12+ hrs in the car in two days, and only one real indulgence– not too shabby!

- Intervals on Treadmill (5 min. walking, 16 mins intervals [75 secs 9.0/9.5mph / 90-105 secs 3.4mph], 5 min. cooldown) [2.0 miles total, 3.5 Degree Incline]
- TT For Abs – Workout D
Modified — completed 2 circuits of the following:
10 spiderman push-ups (5 each side)
20 mountain climbers (10 each side)
10x bird dog (5 each side)

Food:
B-fast: 1 packet Oatmeal w/1 cup raspberries/berries
Snack: Balance Bar
Lunch: Low-sodium Chicken Noodle Soup
Snack: 2 Clementine Oranges; Nature Valley Peanut Butter Bar
Pre-workout: 3 H.B. eggs (2 yolks)
Post-workout: Myoplex Shake
Dinner: Homemade Baked Shrimp and Scallops w/Edamame

Sidenote:
At the halfway point in the contest, I must say I’m quite impressed with the results.  Although measurements and the scale probably wouldn’t indicate much of a difference, I can certainly see one in the mirror.  After one week on the TT for Abs I can already see a distinguishable difference, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what the next three weeks bring!

Sidenote:
Workout got cut short tonight unfortunately.. although I can’t say I was that upset about it!  First time ever doing the Turkish Get Up and this is far and away the most difficult exercise I’ve ever done.   Will be looking forward to trying it again next week though.
